Rapper Gravity Omutujju has criticized fellow musicians Bebe Cool and Eddy Kenzo, accusing them of damaging the image of the NRM government within the music industry.
Gravity, who has previously worked with both artists during President Museveni’s campaign activities, made the remarks while discussing his ongoing payment dispute linked to campaign performances.
The rapper described the two musicians as selfish and claimed their actions are creating resentment toward the ruling party among artists.
“I worked with Bebe Cool not because he is a good person, but because I wanted to benefit financially. It was the same with Kenzo. But they are very bad people, selfish, and they are making many people in the music industry hate NRM,” Gravity said during a TikTok live session.
His comments come amid ongoing tensions between several musicians and leaders within the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF).
