Police in Tororo District have arrested eight suspected Arsenal supporters in connection with the alleged theft of three cattle in Amagoro “A” South Village, Tororo Municipality.
The arrests were reportedly made in the early hours of Sunday morning following investigations into the disappearance of the animals.
According to residents, there are suspicions that the cattle may have been stolen during celebrations linked to Arsenal’s anticipated Premier League title triumph, which would end the club’s long wait for the trophy.
Police confirmed that the suspects are currently being held at Tororo Central Police Station as investigations into the matter continue.
