Events promoter and businessman Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi has announced plans to conduct further DNA testing to establish the true biological children of the late Ugandan music legend Paul Kafeero, revealing that samples will be sent abroad for confirmatory analysis.
Addressing the public through his official social media accounts, Balaam expressed gratitude to everyone who has shown concern over the Kafeero family matter, singling out Mama Phina, Gen. Sejusa, and several others for their support and attention.
He further disclosed that the exercise will be carried out with the assistance of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, with samples set to be sent to either South Africa or the United Kingdom for what he described as credible and conclusive testing.
“With help from General @mkainerugaba, we shall send the samples to South Africa or the UK for a confirmatory test, and that will be done soon,” Balaam stated.
The announcement comes amid a long-running dispute over the identity of Kafeero’s rightful heirs, a matter that has sparked debate among fans, family members, and the public since the singer’s passing.
