Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz has announced the birth of a baby girl through a post shared on his social media accounts.
The Wasafi Music founder shared the news over the weekend, using pink-themed emojis alongside a photo reportedly taken in a hospital theatre following the birth.
In the post, Diamond welcomed the newborn with an emotional message expressing his joy.
"Welcome to the world, our precious little angel. You are already loved more than words can ever say!" he wrote.
The post has since attracted congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities across East Africa.
Neither Diamond Platnumz nor Zuchu shared additional details about the birth in the announcement.
