Uganda’s representative at the ongoing Miss World competition, Trivia Elle Muhoza, has reached a major milestone after securing a place among the Top 6 finalists in Africa for the prestigious Beauty With a Purpose (BWAP) fast-track challenge.
Muhoza's humanitarian project was selected alongside five others from across the continent, putting her in contention for direct advancement in the main Miss World competition.
The African finalists include Rumzia Sule of Ghana, Trizah Muhenje Akala of Kenya, Ireen Navicha of Malawi, Maryam Lorba Konneh of Sierra Leone, Trivia Elle Muhoza of Uganda, and Brunette Makanyiso of Zimbabwe.
Muhoza’s ‘Wings of Hope’ Project
Muhoza, who was crowned Miss Uganda 2025/2026 last September, is an aviation graduate from the Uganda Aviation Academy and has used her platform to champion community advocacy and social empowerment.
Her BWAP initiative, Wings of Hope, operates under the Empowering Mothers in Uganda programme and focuses on supporting single mothers and survivors of gender-based violence.
The project promotes vocational training, skills development and mentorship while also advocating for greater female participation in technical fields and education.
Race for a Miss World Top 40 Place
Beauty With a Purpose remains one of the key fast-track competitions at Miss World, with delegates showcasing long-term projects designed to create meaningful impact in their communities.
The winner from each continental group earns automatic qualification to the Miss World Top 40, making Muhoza's selection among Africa's final six a significant step in Uganda's campaign.
Her latest achievement keeps Uganda in contention for another strong showing on the global pageant stage while shining an international spotlight on her community-focused initiative.
