Singer Mesach Semakula has credited his former Eagles band colleagues for playing a major role in shaping his music career and contributing to his success.
Speaking ahead of his concert scheduled for November 13 at Kingdom Kampala, the “Kyendulaba” singer said he owes much of his success to Geoffrey Lutaaya, Ronald Mayinja, Irene Namatovu, Kavuma and other members of the defunct Eagles band.
“In my success, there is a lot of effort from Geoffrey Lutaaya, Ronald Mayinja, Irene Namatovu and all other members of the defunct Eagles band. There is a lot of effort from Kavuma. I wouldn’t be the one I am today without them,” Mesach said.
He explained that the success was not his alone, noting that the former Eagles members worked together and contributed to the growth of the band during their time together.
Mesach’s upcoming concert at Kingdom Kampala is expected to celebrate his long music journey, with fans looking forward to a night featuring some of his biggest songs and memories from his career.
