Dancehall musician Kid Fox appears to have suffered another setback in his bid to revive his music career after a planned collaboration with Alien Skin failed to materialise.
Kid Fox, who recently returned to Uganda hoping to reignite his career, said he and Alien Skin had planned to work on a song, but they failed to record after some details surrounding the project remained unresolved.
“There are a few things which we need to make clear for the project to come to life. He came to the studio, but we never recorded because of such,” Kid Fox said.
It is alleged that Alien Skin demanded Shs5 million for the collaboration, a figure that is believed to have contributed to the project falling through.
The two musicians had reportedly been linked by legendary producer Washington, who hoped their collaboration would benefit both artistes.
For now, the much-anticipated project remains off the table as Kid Fox continues his efforts to make a strong return to Uganda’s music scene.
