Musician Ava Peace has weighed in on the growing use of artificial intelligence in the music industry, arguing that AI has contributed to the shorter lifespan of songs.

According to Ava Peace, many songs released today gain attention quickly but lose their popularity after only a few days, unlike music from previous years that she says remained relevant for longer.

Speaking about the changing music landscape, Ava Peace attributed the trend partly to the constant flow of new content being generated with the help of AI.

“I think it is AI. Music no longer takes time like it did years before. It may be a good song but stops hitting in a few days. It was different years back,” she said.

Her comments come as artificial intelligence continues to influence music creation, promotion and consumption, sparking debate among artistes about its impact on the industry.
