GNL Zamba regards himself as the greatest rapper to ever emerge in Uganda.
Yet he has not had any chart topping hits in years. GNL Zamba says he is unrivaled in Uganda and he doesn’t compete with local rappers.
“I compete with the likes of Kanye West and Jay Z. I have big dreams and I don’t think they fit in Uganda,” he says.
GNL Zamba sings alongside his wife, Tamar under the name Nsimbi Music. Together, they have traversed nations and won some international awards.
