The Democratic Party, DP has criticized the manner in which President Yoweri Museveni and his NRM government are managing the country, claiming it is taking a dangerous path.
Addressing the media in Kampala this morning, DP publicity secretary said the NRM government has resorted to organized crime through parliamentary mafia-like organizations including Black Mambaz, B 19, Kifeesi, Crime Preventers/promoters, and many others.
“These organizations have taken over State Institutions without due regard to the Law of the Land,” Kakande said.
He claims these activities are overseen by some of the leaders in the country including the Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura.
Kakande prophesied; “These goons carry out their activities heavily financed by the State. If this situation is not arrested, this country is being driven into a State of Genocide.”
“The Democratic Party warns that this state of Affairs cannot be tolerated in a Civilized society like ours. We remind the president that we have the capacity to take back our country even before he swears in,” Kakande argued.
