Jacob Oulanya, the deputy speaker of the 10th parliament has organized a luxurious party at Speke resort Munyonyo to celebrate his recent win in the deputy speakership race.
Oulanya beat his rival, Kampala central MP Muhammad Nsereko hands down in an election that got some NRM members in trouble for supporting the independent candidate.
But now that all that is history, Oulanya is set to host his friends to a thanks giving dinner at Speke Resort Munyonyo Victoria room tonight.
According to the invitation card seen by this website, the dinner starts at 6:00PM until late. Oulanya’s party is seen to many as a challenge against his senior, Speaker Rebecca Kadaga who carried his thanks giving to a shrine in Iganga.
The dinner will be attended by members of parliament, and other politicians, as well as Oulanya’s family and friends.
