Controversial musician Kalifah Aganaga has not released a hit song in over five years. He claims it's because the market is flooded with Nigerian music.
He recently had a heated verbal exchange with one DJ Allan for allegedly overplaying Nigerian music at Happy Boyz located in Tula, Kawempe.
He threatened to smash the DJ's laptop claiming he is part of the curtail keeping Ugandan music backward.
"This is a warning to all DJs that work for Nigerians to play their music all night. You keep our industry backward and it's time to stand up for ourselves," he said during the show at Happy Boyz.
DJ Allan was not bothered by Aganaga's claims as he continued to play his selections.
