Former NTV Uganda presenter Faridah Nakazibwe has revealed that she has no intention of returning to television, nearly three years after leaving the station.
Nakazibwe made the decision to resign from NTV Uganda in 2023 after a 17-year career that saw her become one of the country's most recognizable media personalities.
Since leaving television, she has focused on raising her three children and pursuing private business ventures, including content creation on YouTube.
Speaking during a podcast conversation with Florence Nampijja, Nakazibwe said she believes her time on television has passed and that she is content with the path she has chosen.
“I resigned and can never return to the screen. I am not returning to television because there are young talents who have filled those spaces,” she explained.
The media personality noted that her departure created opportunities for a new generation of broadcasters to showcase their abilities and build their careers in the industry.
Nakazibwe added that her current focus is on growing her YouTube channel and expanding her business interests outside traditional media.
Despite stepping away from television, she remains one of Uganda’s most influential media figures, with a strong following built over nearly two decades in broadcasting.
