Uchumi Supermarket main branch was yesterday evening raided by court bailiffs who ravaged goods and items worth millions for failing to pay debts.
According to Uganda Online, Uga Chick Poultry breeders dragged Uchumi to the Commercial court for failing to pay Shs185M for poultry products supplied between March and July this year. The Court unleashed furious bailiffs who raided the main branch on Yusuf Lule road seizing items that could equal and nullify Uchumi’s debts to UGA Chick.
