Police in Mpigi District are looking for three teachers attached to Vision Academy and Nursery School who recorded a viral video clip of children performing oral sexual acts in school.
The teachers who are currently on the run have been identified as Juliet — who recorded the clip, Teddy, and madam Kuku. The school head teacher, Mulangira, was also briefly summoned to record statements about the case as investigations commence.
A video circulated on social media showed two children aged between 3-6 years being pressured by a teacher to repeat acts done prior. In the recording, the harsh teacher holds a long stick and threatens to whip two children of the opposite sex kneeling in front of her. The young girl panics and admits to sexual acts, revealing her other colleagues. The teacher then forces her to lie on the ground and repeat what they did.
The girl pulls up her dress and removes the panties while the boy licks her genitals. After that, the teacher flogs the minors and the recording stops.
This video has since drawn criticism from the public for the uncouth manner in which the teachers tormented the youngsters to repeat embarrassing acts on camera and shared them with the world.
Uganda Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga told Journalists on Monday that it has since been established that six kindergarten children have been performing the same act, they reportedly learned from each other.
He says following the shameful viral clips, police teams from Nsanju and Bujjukko managed to locate the school but arrived after the teachers had all fled.
Enanga has condemned the teachers for exposing the faces of minors, subjecting them to the torture of repeating sex acts and flogging them thereafter, saying it was child abuse.
"It was very shameful to cause the young girl to pull down her pants, lean on the back, lift her dress, and the boy was told to put his face on the genital area, You can't take children through this. As teachers you are supposed to nurture, and tame nursery kids,"

He adds that the District Education Officer has been directed to do an audit into activities at the school as investigations proceed.
