The suspects were captured on Thursday during an operation by security operatives under the Crime Intelligence Directorate.

Detectives at Kiryandongo central police station have in custody a woman in connection to the brutal murder of 45-year-old George Kyakulagira, a former resident of Kitongoza village. 

The Police are hunting for the driver of a Toyota Hilux registration number UBK 108P who knocked dead a pupil and injured four other people while crossing Kampala-Jinja Highway in Mukono district on Wednesday morning. 

ASP Maate Elly the PRO Kigezi says that the child’s father made a report at police and inquiries commenced. The victim was rescued and suspect arrested from his hideout through phone tracking on 07/02/2023 at about 1800hrs from Kinaba village in Kanungu district.

According to preliminary investigations, the suspect used a sharp machete to chop his father into pieces after a heated argument over the said piece of land.
