Legendary producer Washington is a man with a huge contribution to the Ugandan music industry. He recorded a lot of music with the late Mowzey Radio and Weasel, and he is the man behind most of their hit songs.
Washington is now back to working with Weasel. He is the one who took his studio to Nsambya Hospital where Weasel recorded from his sickbed. Washington explained that he hadn't recorded with Weasel for over seven years, but they are now back together and fans should take notice.
"It has been seven years since we last recorded. So many people had captured you with their own intentions, but God has brought you back home. Blessings, Douglas 'Weasel' Mayanja, let's show them how the 'Afro-Dongo nation' is opening new doors," he wrote, attaching a video of the two recording.
Washington didn't only work with Radio and Weasel; he also created hit songs with Jose Chameleone, Bobi Wine, and Bebe Cool. However, he left the country a few years ago to start a career in Rwanda but was not successful there. He has since returned and settled in Kampala.
