Jose Chameleone Excites Party Animals At Liquid Silk Unplugged

Last night’s Unplugged Sn 2 episode delivered way more than just a rich musical experience.  Dr. Jose Chameleone, who just returned from his world tour exhibited both his vocals and cash.

The legend who hit the stage like a star, in an ocean-blue three-piece suite with matching long sleeved shirt and tinted hair kicked off his performance full of energy to an equally receptive crowd.

Midway through the show, Chameleone rolled his “Basiima Ogenze” hit which got his fans on their feet. As if this was not enough, the Valu Valu star proceeded to dish out UGX 20,000 notes to the revelers which caused excitement and confusion in the crowd.

This gesture didn’t end with him. His pompous show of wealth, excited some loaded basama who joined in and started dishing out money to the packed Naalya-based Liquid Silk crowd. Two particular Basaama by the names of Umar and Shira were spotted joining the money-throwing contest from their corners in the packed club.

Sanity was only restored in the club after a break when Chemeleone started belting out “Bawoza Nyanja” with his live band. The track was equally well received with ululation from the Liquid Silk crowd who sang word-for-word.

The show ended on a high note and we could hear fans in the crowd talking about how they missed the previous shows.

Revellers who were blessed by the flying money were even heard saying they wouldn’t miss the Radio and Weasel show next week.
