Dr Tee appointed new chairperson for Musicians at UPRS

Uganda Performing rights specify( UPRS) held an exclusive meeting on Thursday at Settilet hotel in Kisasi and new leadership was elected.

Faded singer, song writer and Producer, Dr Tee was appointed the new chairperson to head musicians under the UPRS. In addition, UPRS partnered with Feza3 ,a Ugandan application(App) that will be able to avail streams across the world. With this, musicians  are able to see the number of times an artiste’s song is played across the globe.

However, what left many shocked is the huge police deployment and several security checks that were in place at the event. Most popular musicians shunned this event.
