The heat is on. In a few days, we'll know who will be the president of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA). The battle is between Cindy Sanyu and King Saha.

On the surface, King Saha seems to be the favorite among the musicians because he has been continuously posting those that back his bid.

Cindy has however punched holes in his strategy saying that it is not impactful and that she finds it improper.

“UMA is a private business for musicians. I don’t understand why someone would post on a platform that has more people who are non-musicians. It’s not proper. I wouldn’t do it,” she told the press.

Cindy said she has a lot of support from the musicians.

“I have support. Many musicians are on my side but I don’t feel the need to post them like my colleague is doing,” she concluded.

A few weeks ago, Cindy noted that most musicians that support King Saha are not registered members of UMA.
