Rapper Feffe Bussi names Navio, GNL Zamba and Babaluku as Uganda’s top three most successful hip hop artists, praising their legacy and impact on the genre.
Rapper Feffe Bussi has revealed his list of the top three most successful rappers in Uganda, it has emerged.
The self-proclaimed “smallest rapper” said he understands the hip hop industry very well and respects the pioneers he believes deserve celebration for their contribution to the genre.
In no particular order, Feffe Bussi mentioned Navio, GNL Zamba and legendary Babaluku as the most successful rappers in the country.
He asserted that the three artists stand out because of the strong legacy and fan base they built over the years, adding that they are all living comfortably as a result of their hard work in the industry.
“I just can't mention one person because the hip hop industry is huge. I can mention like three names including Navio, GNL Zamba and Babaluku. Their legacy speaks for itself and they are living comfortably, they have really stood up for this genre,” he explained in an interview with a local YouTuber.
Feffe Bussi, however, declined to comment on the current crop of rappers, choosing instead to applaud them for their consistency and resilience in keeping the hip hop spirit alive.
