Celebrated dancehall musician Peter Miles has opened up about what it would take for him to stage a concert again.
The singer, who has spent more than 10 years without performing on a major concert stage, revealed that he would dedicate up to a full year to rehearsals before holding any major show.
Speaking during an interview, Peter Miles explained that he does not believe in delivering half-prepared projects and would want complete control over every aspect of the concert.
“I do not do half-baked things. If I am to hold a concert, it will not be a situation where someone else organizes it for me. I have to be at the center of it. You will find that I may even need a whole year for rehearsals,” he explained.
The musician, however, clarified that he is not under pressure to stage a concert anytime soon but remains open to the possibility in the future.
Peter Miles is regarded as one of Uganda’s pioneering dancehall artists and has remained respected in the industry despite taking a long break from major concert performances.
