Issues of no electricity and poor roads being fixed was the center of Yoweri Museveni’s campaign in Rakai district on Thursday.
Museveni said he was so exciting to give his supporters positive answers as evidence was in their faces.
During the campaign, NRM presidential candidate said the only pending issue is access to clean water which is partly caused by the geography and mineral deposits that makes borehole water unhealthy.
However, the presidents says his government if voted back into office will pump water from Lake Victoria and also the Kagera river then distribute to areas that are in need.
Museveni says he has spoken to the new Tanzanian administration which has agreed to work with Uganda on the project.
“Once again, I thank our supporters in Rakai for turning up massively for our four rallies.”
