Police Statement on Social media Rumors

The Uganda Police has asked all Ugandans especially Kampala city dwellers not to listen to some misleading information making rounds on social media that nobody should come to town (Kampala) on Tuesday 1st March 2016.

The information is contained in a statement issued by the Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Patrick Onyango this afternoon. 

According to the statement, a rumor is spreading around town of chaos on the streets of Kampala come Tuesday next week.

Onyango warns all people spreading the rumor to stop immediately as they will be arrested and charged in courts of law.
