Opposition forum for democratic change, FDC party president Gen. Mugish Muntu has called upon his party members to move on already and look ahead.
Appearing on NBS’ morning show, Muntu said his party is full of contradictions but, it is expected in any environment with many human beings.
He however says that however being cheated in the February 18th election, they need to find their weaknesses, resolve them and move on.
“I don’t mind about internal contradiction but it’s the management of those internal contradictions that is very important. We must also prepare ourselves as a party which is going to take power. If we cannot manage a party, how will we manage a country?” Muntu said.
He added; “We were cheated, but can we go in the past? We can’t. We can only remain in the present as we work to influence the future. We must also sit down and find out what exactly happened, how do we strengthen where we are weak, how do we build capabilities through the different fronts.”
Muntu has since last week been on the spot for appointing a leader of opposition in parliament (LOP), even when the party maintains it is the legitimate winner of the presidential election.
He however says all people both in the party and outside have different perceptions.
