Douglas Lwanga and Mc Kats were at some point seen as rivals because they previously worked for different stations.
In an interview, Douglas disclosed that he can never clash with Mc Kats despite constant reports in the past that they have squabbles.
“When I was starting my TV career, some guys at Hot100 criticized me heavily and said I lacked style. Mc Kats drove from NTV that day to encourage me not to give up. We had not been friends before that day, but what he did, sparing time to motivate me, moved me. We have since been close,” he disclosed the genesis of their relationship.
“We come a long way and we shall never clash,” says Douglas concluded.
Lwanga and Mc Kats are also workmates at NBS TV, co-hosting the After5 show.
