Pastor Robert Kayanja is a man who has faced various challenges, most notably the widely publicized accusations of sodomizing different men.
More recently, Kayanja also faced backlash from fellow preacher Aloysius Bugingo for supporting Bugingo's ex-partner, Teddy Bugingo.
Bugingo attacked Robert Kayanja and his wife, Jessica Kayanja, for allegedly conspiring with his estranged ex-wife, Teddy Naluswa, to prevent his children from interacting with him.
"Pastor Robert and Jessica Kayanja are still secretly working with Teddy, trying to hide my children. They started a church for them and got them lawyers, but Kayanja has never called me, written to me, or even sent someone to tell me anything. All this is aimed at keeping us at loggerheads. No one can ever take away a parent’s blessing. One person took my kids and turned them into his, pretending that he cares too much about them. I’m just waiting to see if he will get them another father," Bugingo narrated during a sermon earlier this year.
While appearing on Spark Television, Kayanja explained that he can no longer engage in conflicts at this time, revealing he is focused on preaching the word of God.
Kayanja says his age and responsibilities do not allow him to continue engaging in fights with fellow humans.
"You know, as humans, there are a lot of things we go through, especially when growing up. There are some things I can never engage in because of my responsibility and age. I can no longer engage in fights with anyone. I am just focused on preaching the word of God," he explained.
Up to now, Bugingo continues to publicly lament not seeing his children and says he misses them very much.
