The singer continues to undergo treatment, but he's a changed man now and says he rediscovered himself.

During a performance around town this week, Chameleone revealed he lost his confidence when he got sick and that his enemies had planned to take his dignity.
The singer explained he was going through hard times, and after long discussions with Juliet Zawedde, she talked to him about his legacy and his power, asking him to get back on track for his own good.
"I no longer want to perform everywhere. I want to do full shows whenever I step on stage. I am a changed person now. Juliet Zawedde told me, 'You don't know who you are; better know who you are.' People had taken my confidence away, and they had come for my dignity. I regained my confidence and have dignity. I am looking fresh now; I am a new person, and the old Chameleone is not here," he explained as he addressed the audience during the performance.
Jose Chameleone expressed happiness towards Juliet Zawedde for the advice and continues to appreciate her for the financial support towards his medical treatment.
