Muhammad Ssegirinya breathed his last earlier this year after a long battle with a cancer-related illness.
Different women showed up with a number of children, all claiming Segirinya as their biological father. The children totaled nine.
Following guidance from Muhammad Segirinya's family and the lawyers of his estate, the children were taken for DNA tests. Only four children were proven to be his biologically.
According to Alex Luwemba Luswa, who was Muhammad Segirinya's personal assistant, the DNA reports excluded the other five children.
"The DNA results are back after a long time, and the results proved only four children belong to Segirinya biologically. The five children were excluded by the results," he explained in an interview with Spark Television.
Luwemba Luswa says city lawyer Medard Sseggona, counsel to Segirinya's estate, is working with the administrator general to oversee the division of the estate among the wives and children of the deceased.
