For a long time, allegations have suggested a romantic relationship between legendary musician Jose Chameleone and socialite Juliet Zawedde.
The two have consistently denied the claims, saying they are just friends and nothing more.
However, on Wednesday night, the pair appeared to go public with their relationship, openly showing affection for each other while Chameleone performed at a city hangout, The Villas.
They kissed to cheers from the crowd, who had gathered to sing along with Chameleone and his band.
This public display of affection comes at a time when allegations also indicate that Zawedde is in a relationship with Tanzanian singer Bushoke, a friend of Chameleone's.
Juliet Zawedde is in the country to celebrate her birthday. She arrived earlier this month and was welcomed at the airport by Chameleone and his parents.
He also recently gave her a piece of art depicting the two of them together, which many interpreted as a symbol of their romantic involvement and commitment.
Zawedde is credited with supporting Jose Chameleone while he was in the U.S., offering him shelter and helping to cover some of his hospital treatment costs.
The two have had a strong bond for over ten years, but their romantic relationship reportedly began in recent years after Daniella moved out of Chameleone's house.
