Music legend, Jose Chameleone, whose real name is Joseph Mayanja, has agreed to divorce his wife, Daniella Atim, after a 17-year marriage.
The couple, married since 2008, share five children. Atim filed for divorce in March 2025, citing neglect and emotional abandonment, and claimed she was left to raise their children alone for five years.
She is seeking full custody of their children, sole ownership of their home in Seguku, financial support for herself and the children, and for Chameleone to pay her court fees.
Chameleone has pushed back on some of her demands. He agrees to financially support the children but argues their home should be registered in the children's names, not his wife's.
He also accuses Atim of turning their children against him and is seeking visitation rights. Chameleone denies the neglect allegations, stating their family's move to the U.S. in 2018 was a mutual decision.
As their legal battle continues, the public is closely following the end of one of Uganda's most prominent celebrity marriages.
