Gospel singer Gloria Mulungi Senyonjo, popularly known as Baby Gloria, is getting married to her fiancé, Mbaleka Jonas, and according to her mother, she's walking down the aisle a virgin.
The couple held their traditional "kwanjula" ceremony on Friday. Afterward, Gloria's mother, veteran singer Betty Nakibuuka, told the media that her daughter's virginity is the reason Jonas presented a goat as a gift during the event.
"Gloria is a virgin. I told her I wanted her to get married like how I did," Nakibuuka stated, adding that she encourages all her daughters to do the same.
She also offered a message of hope to other young women, saying, "Even if you messed up along the way, I believe God can make you pure again."
The couple is now preparing for their wedding.
