Musician and Presidential Advisor on Ghetto Affairs, Buchaman, has come out to express deep regret over his decision to work with the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) government.
Speaking in a recent interview, the singer said he has been disappointed by the high level of intrigue and backstabbing within the party, revealing that many of the programs he initiated have been taken over by other people who now benefit from them.
“At times I regret working with the NRM government because of intrigue, backstabbing, and other things. I’ve been thrown out of many programs I started — including the Ghetto structure and boda boda groups. They’ve since been taken over by different people who are now benefitting,” he explained.
Buchaman, who joined the NRM in 2020, was appointed Presidential Advisor on Ghetto Matters, a position he has held for the past few years.
