Veteran media personality DJ Nimrod has clarified his political stance following a chaotic incident in November where he was pelted with bottles at King Saha’s concert, with fans accusing him of working for the NRM government.
Speaking in an interview with a local TV station, the Galaxy FM presenter insisted that he is not an NRM operative, but simply works with Bebe Cool on professional, paid assignments.
“I actually work for Bebe Cool, not NRM. I can even work for Bobi Wine when he invites me because he is my guy,” Nimrod said.
“I worked for Bebe Cool in Kampala and even provided two deejays for his upcountry tours.”
Nimrod was recently seen performing at the launch of the Unstoppable UG campaign, led by Bebe Cool to mobilize support for President Museveni, but maintains his involvement is strictly business.
