Kasuku Hints at Joining Active Politics in Future

Media personality Isaac Katende, popularly known as Kasuku, has revealed that he is considering joining active politics in the coming years.

Speaking on Tuesday morning, Kasuku said he is seriously thinking about entering politics, describing it as one of the most influential and rewarding fields in the country today.

He disclosed that his interest is in Nakawa West constituency, where he hopes to contest for the parliamentary seat currently held by Joel Ssenyonyi.

“I am going to join politics and I am seriously considering it. I will contest for the Nakawa West constituency seat. I will let Ssenyonyi serve one more term after this one, then I will join the race,” he said in an interview with a local television station.

Kasuku added that when the time comes, he intends to run as an independent candidate.

The media personality, known for his entertainment commentary and celebrity gossip, said politics is a field he believes he can successfully venture into in the future.
