Businessman and socialite Emmanuel Lwasa has once again left many people talking after revealing his plans to become a pastor and establish his own church in the coming months.
While appearing in an interview on Kasuku Live, Lwasa disclosed that he intends to launch his church within the next two months. However, before taking on his new spiritual journey, he says he will continue worshipping at Prophet Kakande’s church.
“I will continue praying at Prophet Kakande’s church for like two months. Every Sunday, I wake up, dress up, and go to church with my new woman because I also found her there,” Lwasa revealed.
Lwasa’s religious journey has been one full of unexpected turns. In 2025, he converted to Islam after falling in love with socialite Nash Glow and adopted the name Akram, a move that sparked massive debate among Ugandans.
However, the businessman later returned to Christianity and embraced the born-again faith. Now, his latest decision to start his own church is expected to attract mixed reactions from fans, critics, and the general public.
Whether he will succeed as a pastor or not remains to be seen, but one thing is certain — Emmanuel Lwasa knows how to keep himself in the headlines.
