Weasel, a brother to Jose Chameleone, thinks music battles have become a joke. He says they're only about money now, not about the music.
Weasel, who had famous battles with Bebe Cool with his late partner Radio, says real music battles should have friction and tension between the two artists.
"The musicians participating in battles these days are just playing around," Weasel said. "The real battles occurred in our era."
Last month, Sheebah and Cindy had a music battle. Next month, Chameleon and Bebe Cool are having one. But Weasel doesn't think these battles are real.
He says they don't have the same spirit as the old battles.
