Over the weekend, the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), under the leadership of Eddy Kenzo, launched a music album in appreciation of President Museveni.

The album features songs from different musicians across the country and is intended to be used as a campaign tool.

Events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, also known as Abitex, was among the guests at the event but was not impressed by the music on the album.

He explained that while the songs carry a good message for President Museveni, they were poorly produced and mastered. Abitex squarely put the blame on Kenzo, claiming his selfishness prevented him from hiring competent producers for the job.

"The songs are very poor. Apart from the message in them, everything is trash. They were poorly produced, and all this happened because of Kenzo's selfishness; he didn't hire the right people for the job," he explained in an interview with a local radio station.

Abitex believes the song project should have been offered to the persons who previously worked on the "Tubonga Naawe" song.
