Veteran singer King Michael has officially announced plans to hold a major concert this year, adding his name to the growing list of artists reconnecting with fans through live performances.
The concert is slated for 1st August at Serena Hotel Kampala, and the singer broke the news during an appearance on Shalom 256.
King Michael assured fans that the show is being meticulously planned to avoid any last-minute stress.
“This is the concert that won’t have stress because everything is set, and if God allows, people are going to enjoy it,” he said.
Concertgoers can expect a blend of his latest releases alongside his timeless classics that remain crowd favorites. The singer emphasized that Serena Hotel was carefully selected to guarantee comfort, security, and a premium experience for attendees.
Tickets have already been priced, with tables going for Shs3 million and ordinary tickets at Shs100,000.
“My things aren’t for rushing; I think through everything. Serena has been on my mind among the venues to consider for a concert, and I have been thinking about it for like three years, waiting for the right time,” he explained.
With preparations already underway, fans are now counting down to what promises to be one of the standout concerts of the year.
