Musician Wyclif Tugume, popularly known as Ykee Benda, has hinted at plans to stage a concert in the near future as he celebrates 10 years in the music industry.
The singer revealed that reaching a decade in music is a milestone worth celebrating and confirmed that preparations for a concert are already underway.
However, Ykee Benda did not disclose the exact concert dates or venue, saying he is still organising everything before making an official announcement.
“I am marking 10 years in music this year, and I will soon start planning a concert. I need to celebrate with the fans because the journey has been long. It is truly worth celebrating, and I will soon reveal the dates and other details,” he explained.
Ykee Benda rose to prominence in 2016 after appearing on Sheebah Karungi’s Farmer Remix, a project that helped introduce him to a wider audience.
Since then, he has remained one of Uganda’s most consistent musicians, releasing several hit songs and maintaining relevance despite a few challenges along the way.
Fans are now eagerly waiting for official details regarding the anticipated concert.
