Musician Bebe Cool is in Tanzania with his wife, Zuena Kirema, conducting a media tour for the Break the Chains album. While there, Zuena opened up about the tough past in her relationship with the Gagamel boss.
The singer shared the real reason why she moved away from Bebe Cool earlier in their relationship, revealing it was not about a lack of love, but about providing a safe home for their children.
Zuena explained that she kept asking Bebe Cool to purchase land and construct a permanent house for his children, but he was always adamant. He only cared about lavish vehicles.
She explained her choice to move away from Bebe Cool's house was after repeated pleas with no response. She says she had to set a condition for her to come back to the house, and that's when the Gagamel boss reacted positively.
“I left because he had no place for our children. I had kept telling him that, but he was adamant and kept on buying expensive cars instead. I put a condition that he must buy land before I come back," she explained during the interview.
Bebe Cool and Zuena have since had more children. They have purchased more land and built different houses around Kampala.
They run other businesses outside of music, including a cake business for Zuena and a quarry for Bebe Cool. They remain among the few resilient couples around Kampala who have lived together for years.
