Musician Mansur Semanda, famously known as King Saha, has sent a bold warning ahead of Uganda’s upcoming general elections, declaring that the National Unity Platform (NUP) is ready to defend its expected victory.
King Saha, who has been one of the most visible celebrity forces on the campaign trail for presidential hopeful Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, has been lighting up rallies across Kampala and its surroundings, mobilising massive youth support.
As the country heads to the polls this week, the singer says he is fully confident that Bobi Wine will emerge victorious — and he is not ready to entertain any alternative outcome.
“I am the President’s man and we shall be winning the elections on the 15th. Bobi Wine will win because he has the support of the people across the country. We won’t allow our victory to be stolen. Stay warned,” King Saha declared.
The outspoken musician insists the people’s voice must be respected, adding that the youth and supporters are alert and determined to ensure their candidate’s win is protected.
King Saha’s remarks have already sparked heated conversations online, with many hailing his confidence while others urge calm as the country approaches a tense election period.
