I’m Broke, Forgive Me! - Ashburg Katto Begs Bobi Wine for Help

Former Firebase blogger Ashburg Katto has publicly appealed to opposition leader Bobi Wine for financial assistance, admitting he is currently struggling to make ends meet.

Ashburg Katto was once a key online mobilizer within the Firebase Crew, helping to build Bobi Wine’s brand on social media during the early days of his music and political rise.

However, his relationship with the camp became strained when he later shifted allegiance and joined the ruling National Resistance Movement, which is led by Yoweri Museveni.

According to Katto, his stay within the NRM did not last long, and after falling out of favor he gradually lost his online influence and opportunities.

Now, the once-outspoken blogger says life has become difficult and he is asking his former boss to forgive him and offer support.

“I am broke and not doing well at the moment. I ask for help from you Bobi Wine. I might have disappointed you, but forgive me and forget that. I need help from you,” Katto said during an interview with a local YouTuber.

His emotional appeal has sparked debate online, with some sympathizing with his situation while others say he must face the consequences of his political decisions.
