Zari’s husband, Shakib Cham, was over the weekend declared champion after knocking out TikToker Barista Timo in the first round of their boxing match.
The fight, staged at the International University of East Africa, attracted several celebrities, including musicians Chameleone, Weasel, and Young Mulo, as well as socialites like Zari and Meddie Ssentogo, among others.
While addressing the crowd, Meddie Ssentogo expressed interest in facing Shakib in the next fight, saying he is ready for the challenge.
“Congratulations, Shakib, upon your win today. However, I would like to face you in the next fight. Let me know when you are ready, and we make it happen,” he said.
The corporate boxing events are organized by the President of the Uganda Boxing Federation in a bid to promote the sport in the country.
