According to the Traffic police spokesperson, ASP Faridah Nampiima, the suspect has been identified as Philip Tenywa, a driver attached to YY bus company.

Four people who were killed by mob action in Katine Sub County over the weekend have finally been identified by the Police in Soroti. 

The incident occurred after a court session at Pakwach grade one magistrate court when prisoners were boarding a Ragem Prisons truck at the court premises.

Albertine region police spokesperson Julius Hakiza has declined to reveal the particulars of the suspects that have since been concealed for fear of jeopardizing investigations.

Among those arrested include RA Corporal Kasaija Niclous, RA Private Oleti Isaac, RA Corporal Leti Jacob, and RA private Kazibwe Javira.

Maliko fled the scene before police arrived, but was later apprehended in Onduparaka.

Private Job Reti and Private Were Orete were apprehended by patrol police after locals made a distress call at around 9:30 PM on Wednesday.

The suspect, Yustin Nyiraziboneye, is a resident of Buhumuliro village in Kinyarwanda parish, Rutete sub-county.
